In the previous guide, we explored the mysterious Ukuoh Shrine and uncovered some of the secrets it holds. One of the key skills you’ll need to master in Tears of the Kingdom is map navigation. With so many locations to explore and quests to complete, it’s easy to get lost or overwhelmed. But fear not, for there’s a handy tool at your disposal – the scope and pin feature. By using your scope to zoom in on specific areas, you can pin locations on your map and easily navigate to them later. This is especially useful for finding hidden shrines, treasure chests, and other valuable items.

After crossing the bridge to another island, you’ll find a Ranger Construct hidden behind a fallen pillar, talking about hunting wild creatures. The fact that there are still friendly constructs giving you tips on the basics of Tears of the Kingdom means you’re not quite out of the tutorial phase yet. When it comes to hunting in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, one of the most important skills to master is the art of crouching.

Pickup the nearby bow and arrows, so you can practice hunting the wild creatures nearby.

Use your stealth ability to take out the creatures and pick up raw meat. Meat is obtained from animals in plains and forests. You can eat it raw, but cooking it will make it more delicious and nutritious.

Once you sear the steak, then you’ll see that it recovers a heart and a half as compared to just one heart.

Break a couple of vases and pick up more sticks along the way to a nearby Culinary Construct who was too busy preparing their next meal for it to notice you. If you didn’t already know already, cooking in Breath of the Wild is as easy as holding the ingredients in your arms and throwing them into a pot over a lit fire.

Make sure you take any raw ingredients you haven’t used yet and cook them up. Tiy can check recipe from a meal’s ingredients to learn how to make better quality food for more hearts in Tears of the Kingdom.

Search the area for a big tree that looks like it’s just begging to be climbed. Once you’ve found your tree, get ready to channel your inner monkey and start scaling those branches. And what’s waiting for you at the top, you ask? Why, none other than fresh eggs – the perfect on-the-go snack for any hero in a hurry.

Wander around the area a little more to find a rock with a mysterious bag sitting atop it that introduces itself as Korok. Who is Korok in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?
